Scam Centre Locations of Cambodia Exposed!
Cybercrime Hubs Operated from Chinese-Owned “Scam Compounds”
Cambodia has become a global hotspot for cyber scams, with massive operations running from buildings known as “scam compounds.” These centres—mainly in Sihanoukville, Phnom Penh, Bavet, and Koh Kong—are controlled by Chinese criminal networks. Inside, trafficked workers are forced to run online scams like fake investment apps, romance fraud, government impersonation, and illegal gaming platforms. Key Locations:-
Sihanoukville: Former casinos turned into scam buildings in Chinatown and Victory Hill.Phnom Penh: Chroy Changvar and Tuol Kork areas house fake call centres.
Bavet: Near Vietnam border, used for scam apps and illegal betting.
Koh Kong: Remote area with scam links in the Dara Sakor zone.
Victims—often lured from other countries—are held captive, tortured, and trained to defraud people globally. International rescue efforts and police actions are ongoing, but these compounds remain a major threat.
